Exception code 0xc0000005 ?
Hi Everyone, I am running windows vista business x64 and recently find a problem. My computer gets frozen up and I need to shut down the computer. I rebooted and clicked on the system short cut. Again my system gets frozen up. I run the chkdsk after turning off many drivers. I have McAfee Antivirus and spybot on my PC. I am unable to find the reason why the system is showing “Exception code: 0xC0000005 Access Violation”. The error code 0xc0000005 is generally occur when any kind of driver problem, mismatch, incompatibility or corruption. You have mentioned about vfp6.exe, it is associated with the Microsoft Visual Studio and If you are using this then make sure that the version of your visual studio is compatible with windows vista. The error code 0xc0000005 also generated when illegal “memory access violation”. There may be possibility that your RAM is defected or the device driver is corrupted. Also try to remove the antivirus because they also take a large space of memory. Antivirus programs also blocks many applications from being run on the PC even if they are not virus. They do that for security reasons.
