Access is denied!!! ?
Hello everyone out here, I am a windows vista ultimate user and I am looking for a software that can help me to solve the problem of getting many Access is Denied error messages. It occurs when I try to click on the folders that are in C:\\. When I click to open the directory an error message is occurred that states directory not accessible. I am the administrator of my machine and I enabled the UAC but still the problem is the same. Anyone have any ideas about my problem. If you know how to solve it, please help.

The problem occurs if you try to access the junctions instead of Real Directories. You have written that you have tried to access the My Documents folder but in windows vista there is no any My Documents folder is made. Other than that in Windows Vista there are many other directories available that are protected. There are many folders that are used by the earlier versions of windows that are moved to new locations in vista. But the old files can be seen if you set the show hidden files. You can recognize them as a transparent icon and a shortcut symbol. Junctions are not the folder so you need to change the built-in administrator account in vista. There you can find information about behavior when you install windows vista as a new installation and the behavior when you upgrade from windows xp to windows vista. Carefully read the pages and do the settings in vista.
