STOP: 0x0000007F UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP ?
I am using on-board flash memory card on my Windows Vista for a while and to facilitate its work I have installed any third party driver software to mange it for Read Drive. But after installing it when I tried to start my computer, the screen fainted for a while and my system re-started. This process continued again and again. After switching off the power when I started the computer, this time it started fine but an error message “STOP: 0x0000007F (e6639ff0, 876ghb30, 00001000, 00000000) UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP” is thrown. I don’t know what the problem is, is it any hardware and software related problem or any thing else. Please help me out

Yes you guessed right, the problem occurred due to issue in the driver software that you have installed. Actually this problem occurred when your system experiences a condition of low memory in the cache. In Windows Vista a driver called Ecache.sys is included which uses large amount of memory during startup. That’s why your system re-started again and again because it does not able to load the cached data for start up. But it is minor problem and can easily be resolved. The only think that you have to do is to obtain the latest service pack of Windows Vista and install it. Also install the hotfix with it. The hotfix will manage the memory use of Ecache.sys and will use the memory less aggressively. This will minimize the low memory condition and cause this problem less likely to occur.
