STOP: 0x000000B8 (param1, param, param, param) ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC ?
I am using SBS2003 Premium system along with IEEE 1394 bus for external devices. Recently I have also installed the new updates for my SBS2003 Premium for advanced features. It is almost a month and my system has crashed 3 times. And it happens generally in the evening or at night. When I checked the event log around the crash time I got nothing particular rather I got this event in system log: Event ID: 1003 Source: System Error Category: 102 Error code: 000000b8 param 1: f7739fa0 param 2: 89cb0b20 param 3: 00000000 param 4: 00000000 When I searched in the net about this error I got unsatisfied results. Can anybody have experienced about this error code?

The problems you have mentioned is due to the IEEE 1394 bus that you are using and due to the updates that you have installed in your system. Due to this, your system’s delayed procedure call (DCP) which is responsible for the scheduling of tasks (e.g. interrupt handler) in the system have tried to perform some unauthorized operation as a result you got these STOP: 0xb8 error message. But don’t worry this problem can easily be resolved. To resolve this problem just obtain the latest service pack of Windows Vista and then extend or update your current Vista’s version with this pack and your problem is solved. It is guaranteed or confirmed that this problem will never occur again.
