From few days I am facing problem while starting my Windows Vista based system. Whenever I try to start my system it is flashing an error message “0x0000C1F5” on Blue Screen of Dead (BSOD). It is not booting from the hard disk neither from CD or DVD. My vista is totally crippled, I don’t know what to do. Please help me out.

Well this issue is generally occurs due to the corruption of $TxfLog file and since your Common Log File System (Clfs.sys) driver is unable to fix this problem that’s why you are getting this error message. This problem will not solve until the offending disk is not removed from the computer. So in order to solve this problem you need to take the help or support of hotfix which is available from Microsoft. But before using hotfix ensure that you are experiencing the same problem as per described in the article. If the additional issue occurs or if any troubleshooting is required you need to solve it separately with hotfix. There are two methods to do this – Method 1 – If you have installed multiple disks then remove the offended disk from the computer in which corrupted $TxfLog does not contains Windows Vista. Method 2 – If you have installed only one disk and you are accessing Windows XP or Windows 2000 on it, then restart the computer by using any of the above mentioned OS and then format the offending disk and reinstall Windows Vista on it. This will surely solve your problem.
