STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE ?
I am using a Windows Vista based system. Few days ago I have changed the Serial Advanced Technology Attachment mode of the boot drive to make use of the advanced Host Controller Interface specification. Then I have restart my system after that I got this message “STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE” on my computer screen. I don’t know how to solve this problem. Can anyone help me?

Hi! Don’t worry this problem can be easily solved. The error message STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE which you are getting on your computer screen actually happens when the Advanced Host Controller Interface in the Windows Vista is disabled. This driver should be enabled before changing the Serial Advanced Technology Attachment mode of boot drive. To enable the Advanced Host Controller Interface driver in registry you should do the following steps- 1. First exit from all Windows based programs 2. Then press start, in the Start Search box type regedit and then click enter 3. If you get the User Account Control dialog box, then after that press continue 4. Then locate, and then press the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\Msahci” registry subkey 5. In the right pane first right click the Start button which is in the Name column and after that press Modify 6. Then type 0 in the Value data box and then press OK 7. Then finally in the file menu press Exit to close the Registry Editor
