Error -6005 ?
Hi, I am running windows vista business on my PC and was trying to install a game. Vista says that setup has encountered an error, please do the following, - Close any running programs - Empty temporary folder - Check up the internet connection - Try reinstalling the setup again Error Code -6005 I use vista business 64 sp2. I perform the steps but nothing happened. Do you have any helpful suggestions?

This error has been seen when some kind of runtime components are corrupted or deleted. Due to this the InstallShield is not being initialized. Other possible cause can be the problem/corruption in the registry entry. You either need to repair or replace the corrupted files so that everything becomes normal once again. To do so go to the, C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\InstallShield\\ folder and Search for the Runtime components and delete it. Again attempt to install the game. If the problem is still there then try to use a registry tuning software that will remove all the illegal entries from the Windows Registry and make the system performance better.
